Black Girls in Marketing is an exclusive community dedicated to supporting and connecting Black college students, post-grad women, and entry-level professionals in marketing.
About Us
Black Girls in Marketing was founded in October 2024 by a passionate post-grad "marketing girly" who has always loved helping others explore the world of marketing. She noticed a gap in the industry—while there were plenty of platforms for seasoned professionals, there were few spaces dedicated to supporting current students and recent graduates as they navigated the early stages of their marketing careers.
That’s where Black Girls in Marketing comes in. This community was built to empower Black women and girls to pursue their dreams in marketing by providing career tips, actionable advice, and a sense of belonging that can often feel out of reach in this field.
We’re here to help you find your footing, build connections, and gain the confidence to thrive in your marketing journey—because you deserve a community that celebrates and supports you every step of the way.
Our Mission
At Black Girls in Marketing, our mission is to empower Black women pursuing careers in marketing by providing resources, mentorship, and community. We support college students, recent grads, and early-career professionals, helping them refine their skills, build connections, and thrive in an ever-evolving industry. Together, we’re breaking barriers and creating space for young Black women to shine in marketing.

We’re here for those who are just starting their journey in marketing. You don’t need 5+ years of experience to be accepted—whether you're in school, freshly graduated, or navigating your first marketing job, we’ve created a space for you to grow and thrive.
